The price of digital projector replacement lamps and rear projection TV replacement lamps is significant. Prices for a single lamp range from $200 to $600 and higher. Comparing prices from different online stores is usually worth the extra time because prices vary among stores by as much as $200 for the same lamp.

ProjectorLampSource provides a pre-programmed way to make these comparisons quickly. We use three established price comparison shopping sites: Google Products (also called Froogle:   www.google.com/products), BizRate (www.bizrate.com) and NexTag (www.nextag.com) .

First, find and click your projector or TV model number using the ProjectorLampSource menus. Then on the model page click the links that search each of the above sites. If your model is found on these sites, you'll see a list of stores and prices for your replacement lamp.

We use the following keyword search format:

Brand + Projector Model Number + "lamp"
Example: Infocus LP130 lamp

This format will usually provide the highest number of search returns and give you the most price comparisons. However, you may want to conduct additional searches. Here are some options:

Go to the Google Products, BizRate and NexTag sites and do keyword searches using the following suggestions:

(1) Substitute the word "bulb" for the word "lamp"

Brand + Projector Model Number + "bulb"
Example: Infocus LP130 bulb

(2)   Substitute the Lamp Part Number (found on the Projector Model Number pages on ProjectorLampSource) in place of the Projector Model Number

Brand + Lamp Part Number + "lamp"
Example: Infocus SP-Lamp-LP1 lamp

You can also use the partial list of online stores we provide to search for your replacement lamp and compare prices. These stores may or may not appear in the Google Products, BizRate and NexTag search results.
